KS2 Art Afternoons
As part of our art provision each year group in KS2 has a five-week period of intensive art afternoons during the Autumn and Spring terms. We welcome families and others from the Hotspur Community to come in and lead a small group of children. They have the same group for the five Mondays to develop specific skills and work on a final piece or work.
This year Art Afternoons will work on our theme of celebrating diversity and challenging stereotypes which can be interpreted in many ways.
Year 5 will be the first year group to have Art Afternoons this year on:
- Monday 17th September 1:30 - 3:15
- Monday 24th September 1:30 - 3:15
- Monday 1st October 1:30 - 3:15
- Monday 8th October 1:30 - 3:15
- Monday 15th October 1:30 - 3:15
Inspiration for these afternoons is being taken from the work of Grayson Perry
