Looking for ways to keep the children busy this summer? You've come to the right place!
Alongside our own summer programme of activities, this page brings together a wide range of activities and opportunities taking place across Newcastle throughout the summer holidays. Whether you're looking for childcare, family festivals, sports, creative workshops, free activities, days out, or community events, we'll be adding links to everything we can find to help you make the most of the summer.

East End Pool is again running activity days on Wednesdays across the Summer Holidays (aqua splash and slides, with lunch provided). Better still, this is all FREE. Age 5-16 (all children must be accompanied by an adult). Pop into the pool to register and book.
NOVUM is a three-day, multi-artform summer festival taking over Newcastle city centre from 7th - 9th August 2026.
